Recommend a good ring sling!

Hello mamas!

With DS1, I used that Dr. Sear's sling, and it worked ok, but it wasn't great. (Good idea, bad design.) With DS2, I have a moby, and I really love it, but when he gets a little bit older I'm going to want a ring sling again.

Anyway, know any good ring slings I can buy?

I've used a WAHM RS and a Maya, and I like the Maya fabric much, much better. It just slides through the rings so much smoother, and you can't tell the front from the back like you can with regular fabric (you see the wrong side of it on the tail when it comes through the slings).

I have a maya and a Zolowear. The maya used to be my favorite but then I lost it for a while and had to use the Zolowear all the time. Now I love the Zolowear and never use the maya!

I've tried a few different ring slings, and my favorite are the ones from sleepingbaby.net -- the shoulders are awesome. She really does some beautiful work!

I have to second both the Zolo and the sleepingbaby suggestions.

I've had my silk Zolo since ds was a baby and it was definately the sling that got the most use from my stash. It is beautiful, well crafted and I really love the fact that it has a zipper pocket in the tail. I get a compliment on it every time I wear it.

I recently ordered a custom sling for our next baby from Jan at sleepingbaby and it turned out beautifully! Amazing craftsmanship and she is great with making sure you get exactly what you want. Plus, her slings are a lot less expensive than others.

You really can't go wrong with either sling.

I love my Maya Wrap. I really like how the padded part sits on my shoulders. It doesn't dig into my neck and chafe. Of course I've only tried the maya wrap and then one of the PITA Snuglis.

I love my Zolowear, but I also use a WAHM one almost as often - babythebaby on etsy. Wraps are definitely my default though.
