Trainers and boys

Hi,
I don't have any trainers yet and am planning to get some. I am curious, for the ecapants with the flap and others like them, how does it work with boys? Is the flap in the back? Are they able to pee in the potty with just the flap down? Someone had mentioned this particular style was nice in winter/in public because you don't have to pull the whole thing down. I haven't actually seen any of these in person. Anybody have experience with these?

Answered my own question...

I found their link to a demo of the ecapants, and they fold from the FRONT to the back! It all makes sense now!
That found, for anyone who has tried them, how do you like them vs side snap or pull up?

They're really great for offering quickly when there's nowhere to put a baby down on a pad, like when running errands in a car. I like mine.
