gender inklings?

i know it's waaaaaay early, but i was wondering if anyone had any intuition happening in the gender area?

my sx were soooo different with dd and ds. with dd, i felt horrible, ms for 6 mos, heartburn at 3 mos, blah, blah.

with ds i felt just fantastic.

so now here i am, 11 or so dpo, with heartburn, nausea, and several other very specific sx i had only with dd.

i'm inclined to feeling this baby is a girl.

anyone else? come on, just for fun!

eta: we will be waiting until the baby is born to find out, thus the speculation thread. i like to test my intuition in strange ways, lol!

My intuition is screaming girl, although it did when I was pregnant with DS, too.

It's too early for me to compare symptoms....at this point with DS I didn't even know I was pregnant.

Good thread, Scarletbegonias It will be interesting to see how everyone's predictions pan out.

When I was pg with DD I was sure she was a girl - right!! When I was pg with DS #1 I was sure he was a boy - right!! But when I was pg with DS #2 I was so sure he was a girl I even bought pink - soo wrong!! So part of me doesn't want to guess this time!! Plus we all do want another girl since that will put us at 2 and 2 - but we didn't time very well so unless there were some fast girls in there...

We were charting with ds2 and dtd the day before o and the day of. We were charting this time also and only dtd two days before o...so I'm going with girl. We wont find out until the birth so it's going to be a great mystery for awhile.

I'll say girl based on when we dtd and when I o'd. Otherwise, I have no inclination. I was certain I was having a boy when we discovered dd was a girl...so I won't go with inclination this time!

Oh geez, this is a crazy story... but in June 2008 my estranged father and his crazy new wife (who both think they are psychic and telepathic) sent me a letter predicting that I would give birth to a girl within two years. The letter basically said, 'Congratulations on your pregnancy which will occur very soon, you will be having a girl." They also called family members and told them, and they were understandably confused when they called me to congratulate me on my non-existent pregnancy! Needless to say, I was hurt, disgusted, and offended, and sad, and intruded upon, by this "prophecy" or whatever you want to call it. Ugh, how inappropriate can you get!

My wonderful mom passed away in 2006, and I know I'm grieving her not being here to tell, and that's probably why this letter hurts so much. Her reaction would have been amazing to see, a sharp contract to my father's crazy negative drama.

That being said, I have a feeling that this baby will be a ....BOY!!

I'm going with BOY

my symptoms and food cravings are sooo similar to when i was pregnant with my son yet my intuition is saying girl.

I kind of think it's a boy, but I kind of thought it was a boy last time, and I had a girl. EVERYONE else I knew thought the same, except ONE friend who said girl, so I'm going with whatever she says.

Luckily I really don't care either way (nobody ever believes me, but it's true!).

My symptoms are pretty mixed compared to my last pg with dd. But going by any inklings? Then I'd say B/G twins.

Based on timing (DTD 4-5 days before O!) I'm thinking we have a pretty good chance of having a girl!

mightysahara, that's a crazy story! If I were you I think I'd hope for a boy too!

I don't know if my inklings are actual inklings, or my mind preparing me for the opposite of the wishful thinking.

I have NO idea, none. I think even if I did have an inkling one way or the other it would just be my brain thinking it's what I want it to be.
At first DH said he thought it was a girl, now he says boy. He has no rationale or reasons for why he thinks so though.
I keep thinking girl because the few friends of mine that have had babes in the past few years have had girls- it's a trend or something.
I'd love to have twins- boys or boy and girl. Wishful thinking...

DH keeps teasing me that I keep saying "he" when I refer to the baby. I don't have a preference, but the hubby keeps saying that he wants a boy so he's not doomed to be wrapped around a little girl's finger the first go around.

Plus, he's terrified the next one will be a girl too and he'll have double trouble.

I feel girl already 100% lol! Last time I wanted a girl and around 12 weeks or so I was driving and all of a sudden I was like YUP its a girl! (I really want all girls anyways so ya know...) I was right and we have our 1 dd now. I cannot wait to find out and have no clue how you all have the self control not to know!!!

We dtd the day after I o'ed - we have 2 girls and a boy already, and our son has only 2 boy cousins out of 11, so we're hoping to give him a little brother.

That said, we won't find out until the birth whether we were right or not!

Right before we found out I was pg, I had the most vivid dream I gave birth to a little girl. My intuition is YELLING girl, but I"m not sure if it's because I'm hoping for a girl, or because it IS one, LOL. (btw, would be totally fine with a boy, I just always, always thought our family would end with a girl and this pregnancy is IT, lol)

BOY If it's another girl, I'd be stoked too...our family and extended family is almost ENTIRELY female! But I would really really really love to have baby boy
