Does STTN shorten CLW?

My DD has been sleeping through the night since before she was 2mths old. She is 4mths old now. I was wondering do you think this will effect how long she nurses past age 1. I would LOVE to go to a minimum of 2 and even longer if she wants. But I am thinking that maybe DD is not as attached to the breast as some other kids (like my older 2) who co-sleep at night and have access to the breast all the time.
Did you LO STTN at a very early age and go on to nurse for atleast 2yrs on their own?

My younger son STTN on Day 3 (honest to Pete, I did nothing to encourage that, either!) and is still nursing strong at 2.5 yrs old. He's definitely more laid-back about it than his older brother was at this age, but that's probably more personality than anything.

I'm just curious how you define sleeping through the night, since so many people define it differently?

Both my girls started sleeping for a long stretch at night (like, 5 hours) from birth, and pretty soon were going for 6 or more hours of solid sleep.

Both nursed well beyond the age of 4 (my youngest is 4 1/2 and still nursing).

So I would think that as long as it's THEM setting the pace, they will probably nurse at least 4 years. At least, the children I know of who were allowed to totally child-led wean, nursed for at least 4 years.
