We are so so excited to welcome our new baby girl Phoebe Louise Claire, who was born Oct. 30 at 7:44 pm after 16 hours of active labor, 25 minutes of pushing---into my hands at home in the water! I am so pumped that we birthed at home---I had so many doubts mamas that it wouldn't happen, and I'm so glad we chose home birth.
I'm eager to write up the birth story so hopefully soon. Other stats are:
7 lbs 8 oz
41 and 3 days pregnant by LMP/ 41 by ovulation
21 inches long
13.5 inch head
Nursing AWESOME (I seriously think my milk is coming in already at the 24 hour mark--anyone else??)
SO grateful for friends and family who have stopped by (and who are holding her now while she sleeps and I type.)
