Is it safe to line-dry clothes in the house? - Page 2

We only line dry during the summer, usually. Our home is around 60-65 during the winter. It seems like it'd take a LONG time for anything to dry? Being our dryer is in the garage, there's no need to heat it out there (plus our freezer is out there, so less reason to have heat in that room).

I'll have to experiment. I don't want to buy a clothesline for our bathroom yet. But I imagine a full load is going to take a day or two to dry completely.. ? And I hate to run the fan in the bathroom the entire two days? Thoughts?

hehehehhehhe....talk about cultural differences....where I live virtually nobody has a drier, and we line dry all of our clothing inside the apartement....winter or summer....and no mold yet ;-)

BTW, I use flat diapers for DS, so you can imagine the amount of drying.....if its winter i put it on radiators, in summer on whatever this is in English LOL

It's really interesting to observe all the cultural differences, compare and share...

Not necessarily a cultural difference-- could be a climate difference.

If you have central heating and it's cold outside it will dry really quickly because the air is so dry inside.
