I haven't seen his addressed yet. My son just turned 2 and for the last few days has been resisting drinking and swallowing milk while nursing. He nurses and somehow compresses the nipple so when I start to have letdown, the milk won't come out! He started doing that when he would just nurse for a few minutes during the day, but now it is all the time, even when he is nursing to sleep. It is very frustrating! He can nurse for 30 minutes and fall asleep without drinking a drop from my overly engorged breasts! Has anyone else had a toddler change to this odd nursing pattern? I'm thinking about pumping afterwards just to get relief. He doesn't drink anything else, but eats what we do. I think it must relate to turning 2 as it seems like he figured out how to control the milk and he has been more willful in other ways as well. I am hoping this is just a phase though. Any advice?
