I think I'm in early labor-updated with pics!

I should have called it months ago! I think today is going to be our day.....we'll see but i'm definitely having good contractions, all through my lower back and pelvis.

praying for an "easy" labor!

i was right!

Emily Grace Marie joined us earthside Monday Nov,2 at 715 am. labor was easy but pushing was long. after 6 hours we were waiting on the ambulance when the 2nd mw got to the birth center. she heard me grunting and said she was getting our baby out. i laid down and she got in there and did something while the other mw and assistant pushed on my belly. it hurt like the dickens but God is good and our little girl was born. turns out she was stuck for a good reason. her cord was wrapped around her necj and under her arm so she couldnt pass through without assistance. saved us from a cord accident! she needed some help getting started but is just fine and beautiful. nursed like an expert from the get go.

Also...6 hours of pushing. Wow. That's pretty bad-ass.
