Good recipes for Halloween leftovers?

Ok, so what do I do with all this CANDY? Usually we are pretty good about doling out the treats slowly over time.. but eventually I end up tossing whatever is left because I just don't think that candy should have a long shelf life..

I have also frozen chocolate BARS, but there are tons of individually wrapped little candies in there... hmm... ideas? Some I have already thought of..

Melting down the caramels for caramel apples..
chocolate bars- mini smores (I have made these in the micro before with good results)
And I know you can stick mini candies in cupcakes for a gooey filling...

What do I do with say, candy corn? Other ideas? How about cake toppings? Can I crush up suckers for that?

My mother in law makes a cake that is 2 layers of meringue with whipped cream mixed with chocolate-covered raisins if you have some of those. Also many chocolate bars (Heath, Reeses etc) would be good chopped up in cookies or in a meringue before you bake it.

You can top cupcakes or ice cream with pretty much any candy. If you have hard candies you can make stained glass cookies.

I would save up whatever you don't eat for decorating gingerbread houses in December!
