Do you think hot ground sausage would be good in this casserole?

I have some tofu to use up and I'm thinking this might be good with either regular or hot ground sausage for extra flavor and yes I know its supposed to be vegan but vegan we are not

Yum!! I think it would be great! The spice would be a great flavor addition and the fat would be great for mouth feel
