I too kept looking at everyone and wondering if they were V, I think that maybe the FBI agent who visited the younger priest about the guy who was murdered was V too.

At least in the original V you pretty much knew who was V and who wasn't, how the heck are they going to be able to tell in this one besides cutting into everyone they meet??

The Vs in the old show had voices that would reverberate. Kind of like when you talk into one of those kiddie echo microphones. Also, not all the Vs were good looking. Robert Englund (aka Freddy Kruger) was the good V.

I also had nightmares when I originally watched it, but... didn't it come out in '81? I was 3 yo! I watched it again as an adult and it totally wasn't nightmare worthy. I think you are probably safe from nightmares.

I can still remember my nightmare. (It is one of my earliest memories.) I was in a cage on a UFO and the lizards said they had already eaten my parent's brains. And they were going to eat my brain once I got bigger.

And yeah, I hated that alien baby scene. And does anyone remember when the one alien's jaw unhinged and she ate a whole bird or rabbit? That was creepy!


I thought the first episode was much more exciting then the second. And I understand why they already did the alien reveal in the first episode. We already know what they are! There's no point in the show acting like it would be a big surprise for everyone. But I can't wait to see how the earlier reveal changes the story.

It was a guinea pig. For me as a 6 year old the alien eating the guinea pig wasn't as scary as the alien babies. Yeah, the lizard baby was scary but not as scary as Elizabeth. An alien walking around who looked like a human. For me that was far scarier than a lizard baby that died. Her mannerisms were creepy too.

I agree. Its not like we don't already know that they are lizards in disguise. It'll be interesting to watch how it unfolds. I wonder if they'll do another alien baby scene.

They seem to be setting something up like that. Tyler (Erica's son) seems to be developing a relationship with the "V" Lisa. I remember seeing something in a preview where she tells them that Tyler is the one she wants. Maybe they'll do another "baby" scene but in reverse with a V being the one who gets pregnant.

You know on the last episode, there was a FBI agent who interviewed the Priest at his church. Dark skinned, black wavy hair... Is she from Battlestar Galactica???! She looks so familiar then I clued in that she looks exactly like one of the "final 5" Cylons. Anyone know if she's the same actress?

I really don't like the teenage son (Tyler?) in this series. I find him really annoying..

Yes, the dark haired FBI agent who interviewed the priest is "Tori" from BSG. Also, DH and I think that Erika's boss at the FBI (who we also think might be a V) was Starbuck's dad in BSG.

We think the old priest, "Tori" from BSG (I think Erika called her "Mel"?), and Erika's boss all might be V's.

I heard the part about Lisa saying Tyler's "the one" on the previews too.

Loved the ending where Alan Tyduk is all fixed up. We love him too!

I think the old priest is a V too. Totally. Tori too. Not sure about Erica's boss. Maybe, maybe not.

But since erica's partner is still alive, then they know that she knows and why don't they kill her? Or will they shadow her to get to the resistance?

I do remember the 80ies show, but not the creepy parts. My older siblings watched it when my parents were out and let me watch it too. I must have gotten lucky to skip the nasty parts, cause I was like in kindergarten!!!

I think last episode was lame as there was no action. They really should try to tell more per episode and not just work towards a cliffhanger.

I think that after re-watching the orginal series Tyler looks pretty tame in his annoyances compared to Daniel (the teen in the orginal peace ambassador/Hitler youth program). Daniel was a pot head, his ignored his grandparents warnings (his grandparents were holocaust survivors) and made regular humans lick his boots.

Ok...holy crap! What a fabulous episode! I was disappointed by the second episode's total lack of action, but this absolutely made up for it. I almost had a panic attack when Erica's partner remembered that she was the one who had tried to kill him, and I seriously cheered when it turned out that the V who was helping Dale was really part of the resistance. The fact that the assassin was really a V didn't shock me at all. I thought the ending scene was too funny, how Lisa took all her clothes off so that Erica wouldn't find out she was a V. I also agree that Lisa might get pregnant, but I'm hoping that she actually falls in love with Tyler and becomes part of the resistance. I actually adore Tyler, I find him adorable and completely relatable, but I'm sure that's because I'm 20 and can see why he's so obsessed with the V's. At this age, life seems depressing, lonely, long and hard.

When the V's came along, they offered all this hope and love, so I can see why he'd cling to it. I have to say, that's what I enjoy most about the show, is how realistic it is in terms of how quickly they're accepted. You know that if these "peaceful," beautiful people could come along promising peace, health, etc, people would flip out and start worshipping them.

Oh, and I'm so worried about Ryan! I'm assuming that "John Mays" was his official Visitor name. I want to know what he did with Cyrus. I'm thinking maybe his fiancee could be the one who gets pregnant if they decide to go that route? I could see him deciding to leave her for her safety, her finding out she's pregnant, all while not knowing what he really is. Then again, with ultrasounds being performed on almost all women these days, it would be hard to have a surprise alien baby, you know?

Edit: Watching it again, I missed the conversation about John Mays. I want to see who he is! And did anyone else catch that after next week's episode, there won't be anymore until MARCH?!

So is Dale dead for good? That was kind of a surprise that his doctor was in the resistance. If I were him I'd have gotten more information out of him before killing him and reveling himself.

Last weeks episode was pretty dry, but I agree that last nights episode totally made up for it. I was just thinking how I am actually liking this show and they only give us one more.

I missed the first half because I was tucking the kiddos in so I need to rewatch it. I can't say much more till then...

You know the best thing about this episode? A mainstream TV show questioning mass vaccination. I've never seen that before.
