So, I think we have H1N1...

... and I'm not too freaked out. My older kids have already kicked it, now my 2 year old dd is on her second day of high fever and bad coughing. I feel like absolute crap. My little almost 3 month old ds is sleeping a little more than usual and maybe has a slight case of the poops, but is otherwise well.

So, for the little ones, what am I supposed to be watching for? Any words of wisdom?

Thanks!

I would use elderberry syrup for everyone. It is safe and will come through your milk to the baby. If your baby gets a high fever, I would watch it very carefully and use fever reduction methods that you feel comfortable with if the fever gets or stays really high. Hang in there! And feel better soon!

My son (almost 2) had swine flu recently -- and no one else in the family got it.

Feel better soon!

I'd bump up the Vitamin D supplements and just watch for warning signs, trouble breathing, dehydration, etc.

my 2 y/o had it (most likely). and the worst symptom was the fever. he was really sluggish compared to his normal self. but that was it. so we just managed the fever. i would also do the BRAT diet. my son got better day 4, but i let him eat his regular diet and then he started barfing. i blame the tamiflu mostly (i will never touch that sh-t again!), but if i'd watched what he was eating more, i don't think he would've barfed so much.
