What do you have in your art supply stash?

I need to restock and add new things to our art box, and I'm looking for some new ideas.

I learned from the kids' preschool, and now I keep:
--egg cartons
-- corks
-- bottle caps
-- caps from dried-out markers
-- old fabric sample book (cut out pieces for sails or clothing or whatever)
-- tp and paper towel tubes

With lots of glue, of course!

DS is 9 but we have
markers (fat and skinny, crayola and sharpie)
crayons
pencils (colored and regular)
glue (colored and regular)
paper (white and colored and construction)
lots of foamies and foam sheets
plastic string
beads
paint
playdough
lots of different types of scissors
different types of stamps
several different colors of stamp pads
NO GLITTER (sorry but glitter is banned here)
'color wonder' products ds still thinks these are neat
hole punches
staplers
pearler beads - i hate these but ds loves them

Then in *my* stash we have
X-stitch materials with lots of floss
crochet hooks in every size imaginable
way too much yarn

Fancy scissors (that cut in patters)
googley eyes (!!!)
felt and felt with sticky backing
fake flowers
paperclips--colored ones


Hit the dollar store (not necessarily the craft section) there's a TON of stuff that works great for crafting.

DD is two, and we have an art trolley that's filled with:

Glitter and glue sticks [glitter is locked so only I can get it, oof that would be bad]

Different craft kits

One thing that's helped with keeping paints from getting all mixed together is to always have more brushes than different colors. Right after I started letting DD use jars of paint we had the colors turning into striped, brownish and gray. Things like spatulas are good for painting too. Everything else seems to have been mentioned.
