Leaving LO for the weekend, how much EBM? - Page 2

I left my then 3-month old EBF daughter for 48 hours straight, every week with my parents who live very far away, while I went to work during that time period. She never ate very much. She always ate a lot more when she was with me. She never had any latch issues after being away from the breast for 2 days straight. I always pumped out way more than she ever drank. I've thrown away over 200 ounces of breast milk because she didn't eat that much and it got old.

we made it, all's well

We made it back. We left Friday @ 6pm and returned Sunday @ 6:30pm. DD did very well (according to grandma) and took 52 oz. while I was away:
10.5oz. Friday evening
21.5oz. Saturday
20oz. Sunday
We got lots of smiles when she saw us and as soon as I picked her up, she latched on and has been nursing off & on since then

I was a wreck while away.. I missed her like crazy and called at least 10 x's a day
I pumped about on the same schedule she usually eats and pumped 32oz which is now in the freezer along with the 15 or so oz that she didn't use over the weekend.
I really, really don't want to leave her again in 2 wks so we are looking at how we can manage to take her to Vegas with us for that tournament. (anyone live out there? willing to come to a hockey game and babysit?? )

btw, we won the Championship this weekend

Congrats on the championship, and I'm so glad your LO did so well!

Try posting in Finding Your Tribe for Vegas mamas who might be able to help you out, or recommend a babysitter.
