The momentum is building! I am stoked!!

Anyone else starting to get really excited?!?!? I just picked up my "Gro-Baby" diapers yesterday. Last night I washed all the inserts because they need a good 5 hot washes and drys to really puff up the cotton. It may seem corney, but I'm really looking forward to using them, it seems like alot of fun! I got 12 pants in 4 colors. Last night I also started a list to give to DH. This is our second home birth and this time around we are WAAAAY more prepared than the first time. So on the list I just jotted down everything that he will need to do that day when labor starts! I was 35 weeks last Friday so I'm really in the home stretch now! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Yay! I am excited too! Dh and I washed and put away all of our newborn clothes and blankets yesterday and it was so much fun. We only need to buy a few more things and we will be ready for this baby. I'll be 35 weeks on Thursday, so I should probably try to calm down a little as it could be another 7 until the baby comes, but it's hard to!

We wrote more in the baby book last night about our preparations and hopes and dreams, etc. Pretty corney, but it makes everything seem more real.

I'm really looking forward to snuggling this baby and watching the snow fall outside this winter!

I'm starting to get cautiously excited...while continuing to freak out that I'm going to have a baby to take care of 24/7 and don't have any idea what I'm supposed to do with him...but cautiously excited. I think if we get the work we're planning to do this week done, I'll be ready to get really excited starting next week.

I'm going to miss being pregnant a little, I think, but it seems like life can really start once the little guy is here. I'm really looking forward to watching him grow and develop...all of the milestones yet to come. I'm looking forward to taking A LOT of photos. I'm looking forward to getting a few of the early learning experiences out of the way. Once I know how to change a diaper, once breastfeeding is established, once I sort of know what I need to do on a day-by-day, hour-by-hour basis, I'm going to feel much more comfortable with the whole motherhood thing. I know I'm really going to love being a mom, and that being scared of the unknown is to be expected...so I'm ready to finally know a few things! Also, I'm excited both to get to experience birth and to have it out of the way.

I'm getting pretty excited here too!

I've entered into manic nesting.Every day I'm doing something around the house or making lists for DH. I also have started spending a lot of time just looking at my diapers and his clothes and picturing him.

I am 35 weeks on Wed. I have to get to 36 weeks to deliver at home. I'm not worried about going early (dd 1 was 3 days "late") but I will feel a sense of relief and more excitement when I hit 36 weeks next week.

I'm going to start moving everything in place soon. I've been on bedrest for a week now, just waiting for 36w and then I'll get everything ready!

Yes, I held up a sleeper to my belly yesterday and said "SQUEEEE!" I was trying to see if it would fit.

I need to get some stuff for work under control, but I feel like everything else is going great and I'm so ready to meet this little character.

Next month! I'm so excited. I've been busy nesting, getting everything in order, making tons of lists, etc.... The crib will be here by next week, and then all I'll need to pick up are a crib mattress and crib sheets, baby socks and hats, a pack of NB dipes, and some random birth supplies. Then I can relax about that and start freaking about Christmas!

I'm getting really excited too. I can't wait to see how this little person looks like DH and I (if at all lol) and what it is. We finally came up with a boys name that we both really like and of course I have my girls names picked out

I just can't believe we are next! It's November jeeez....we will probably start seeing our birth announcements thread sometime this month!

Wahooo! Totally excited here too! Although I am not a ftm, 12 years is a long time (since my last) and I feel like it is a new experience all over again!
I have tons to do but don't really have the proper space to get ready until it really is time... So, I have just about all I will need but not all of it is ready to go just yet. Could be worse!

Hard to believe that next month, already, the big day is coming!!!

I'm so jealous of all you nesters!!! I want to be nesting so bad, but we're worried about baby coming too early! Friday can't come fast enough! No more bedrest and I'll be able to get some stuff done, including my massive baby is almost here grocery shopping trip.

i'm a bit freaking out! Really i suspect this baby will be more like mid - late dec but I hit 37 weeks on the 19th and well..... that's full term....

Yup, I just realized this week that I'm 36 weeks today, and my other kids have all been born between 37 and 39 weeks. So, I should probably start getting stuff done. I did some rearranging upstairs to make space in our room for the birth and baby clothes and stuff after. I'm trying to do a basic clearning out/decluttering in the house, just so I don't have to deal with stuff after.

I want to nest, but it's so tiring, and I end up ignoring everyone else while I do it. Arg.
