Thought you all would appreciate this, from Medical News Today. Snippet:

It helps prevent unintended pregnancy, reduces the incidence of rape, and decreases the incidence of penis envy in young girls. The risks are minor and rare, mainly bleeding and infection. Penile amputation is the new HIV vaccine, contributing to public health.

I laughed until my sides hurt. My favorite part was the part where they said that they would provide "anesthesia" for the penis amputation surgery, namely sugar water or wine and calming music.

Actually, my smile is somewhat frozen here. (Yes, I think I understood the funny part even though I'm not American.)
Keep me posted on whether it worked with the circ' promoting in-laws. I'll save forming an opinion for later.
