Help! Please don't laugh...

Ok, you can laugh if you want.

I totally can't remember if I took my prenatals today...should I take them again?

I remember thinking "I need to do that" and I even remember walkin over to the cabinet. But then it's just blank. Did I take them? Did I get distracted?

WHAT DID I DO?!?!

If I DID take them, would it be "too much" to double dose in one day? I usually don't think twice about upping dosage of vitamins, but with the precise dosages in prenatals I have no clue if that would be a bad thing.

I am clearly unfit for duty. Holy crap. I can't believe they let pregnant women drive, let alone supervise small children.

Neither double dosing (for one day) nor missing a day will hurt anything.

I do have to admit that I laughed. Then I took my prenatals, which I had forgotten. Then I laughed again at the "precise dosing" of prenatals. Have you ever compared prenatals? They are all different!

It's okay, really. If you're really worried, only take a partial dose (I don't know how many pills you take a day)

Okay, sorry, but I'm laughing! Don't worry though, I really am laughing with you, because that is totally something that I would do. At the beginning of this pregnancy, before I knew that I was pg, I backed into my step-mom's car...even though I KNEW that it was there! That just adds more ammunition to your feelings about letting preggos drive!

I agree with CorasMama.

brb, gotta go take mine, thanks for reminding me!

(and seriously this is something I would do too.... and I think I probably already have, I just can't quite remember....... )

hahaha, oh dear. I made it to the kitchen and realised that I did already take it! At least I think I did.... DOH!

(see? we're all right here with you.... )

Oh gosh, I just saw all of the 7/10 EDDs in all of your siggies, and I realized that I totally crashed your DDC with my response. I'm so pregnant, I didn't even realize that this was in a DDC; I thought it was the regular pregnancy forum (it came up under new posts for the I'm Pregnant forum).

I posted a message for the June mamas in the April DDC just the other day.

And also, in my last pregnancy I ran the car into the house 2x in one day. And on another day I caught my shirt on fire while cooking, but didn't know until the end of the day when I took it off and saw all the burns. Gotta love the sharp witted joy of pregnancy!

I did the same EXACT thing a couple of night ago - now I have to take my vitamin the second I wlak into the bathroom at night, or I completely forget to take it. I have been taking them so long now that it is second nature and I just completely forget whether I have done it! LOL

I have one of those pill sorters with the days of the week on it. I put my vitamins in there even though sometimes there is only one. Throughout the day I go and look in the spot for the day not remembering if I've taken them or not.

Ok, thank you ladies. I still feel royally dumb but at least a little bit reassured, lol...

Re: the "precise dosages" on prenatals, I did some comparison shopping before I bought these, and you're right a lost of the dosages do differ but they all seem to have the same dose of, say, folic acid. I guess that's really what I meant, lol...who knows, it was midnight and I was about to cry!

lol!

pg space brain is sooooo much fun!

every time i'm pg, i lock my keys in the car at least once, and have to wait for the tow guy to come out and jimmy my car open.

i should start carrying a metal coat hanger in my purse.

yup, welcome all to the brain fuzz of pregnancy. today i spent 10 mins looking for my coat....that was right in front of me. my best friend was right there and jokingly looked in the refridgerator as last pregnancy i put my house phone away in it. She was being a puke because she knew my coat was there and just wanted to see how long it took for me to find it

That is ok, she is having sympathy symptoms right along with me. Ha! I am not the only one with cravings and sore BBs! :P
