Art Attack looks like fun.

Art Attack looks great! I'd be totally down with that. Plus, I'm trying to lose weight and all the eating is killing any progress I might be making (I have zero will power around flying star desserts!).

Oh, when are you getting the puppets ASF? They sound interesting and I'd like to get some, I think.

elmh - I just emailed you that recipe. I'm sorry it was late! Let me know what you think of it.

We just brought out the potty seat for the little guy. He's all excited now!

I might be able to do Art attack if MIL was here.....like some time next week maybe?

I'd be into Art Attack. It looks like a fun place and hey I won't get heartburn there (or at least it's less likely.)

So I totally lost it on E tonight, I don't know what I'm going to do with him. He just doesn't, oh I don't know. I'm not sure how much either one of us can take.

Hugs, Eman's. My J is more complicated than I thought a boy would be. He's all drama, all the time. A lot of it he gets from me -- I am a champion overreactor -- but most days it is HARD WORK to keep being patient with him.

So my MIL just sent me a forward from her oldest son's girlfriend (osg from here out) about vaccines. Apparently MIL e-mailed her about the "vaccine controversy" and mentioned that M's wife hadn't vaccinated the kids, but since osg works in drug testing (not sure exactly what this means) she wanted her opinion.

Yeah, MIL has no clue what we do with vaccination (for the record, we're delayed and selective) but it just annoys the HELL out of me that she had to say this to someone we don't even know. Oh and osg is pro-vax (ok, so am I, just not all at once!) and thinks that the whole autism issues in a non-issue. That's not WHY we don't vax! My hubby is frickin Aspergers if ever there was one and so is his father! If my son is, then I'm not going to blame the vaccines.

Sorry, I really needed to get this off my chest. I sent her an e-mail detailing exactly what we're doing so she is no longer confused I didn't mention why because I feel it's none of her business, but if she wants to ask, I will let her know.

ETA: I made an appt for Monday earlier this morning (before I got this e-mail) for S2 to get the MMR, so if anyone wants to hang out next week, let me know. S1 has half days on Wednesday and Thursday (though I think I have a parent teacher conference on Thursday.)

so not cool of your MIL
Pretty much tuesday is the only day i have free - Big C has a long day that day so it would just be me and the little.

Very obnoxious of your MIL.

I'm really sad this morning. It's a long story.

Is the group meeting regularly to play, and is there a day that the older boys are not in school and meeting to play?

Sorry about your morning KMJ hope it gets better, generally during the week it's just the youngers, just because of school, but we do try to sometimes get together for the boys but lately the schedules don't seem to be meshing well.

Oh elm, when I think of my MIL as a woman with mental illness (in her case that is true) it makes dealing with her so much easier. I am more cabable of letting the crazy roll off my back and just not engaging her. "Really MIL that is facinating info, I'll make sure to look at that" and just drop it.
