'Sid the Science Kid' Gets Flu Shot

My ds is allowed to watch tv first thing in the morning, while I'm making breakfast. As it would happen, Sid the Science Kid is usually on about that time in our area. It's quite catchy, and my dp and I find ourselves chanting "I'm lookin' for my friends, I'm lookin' for you!" throughout the day...

So this past Sunday...

This particular episode aired. And I am speechless. This is a program funded in part by the federal Dept of Education, but I never expected THIS...

I watched the entire thing and took notes. I think what pissed me off the most was the first 10 minutes is which Sid asked his mom why he gets vaccinations. She responds 'because we love you.' UGH

I need help on where to go from here. Or if there's already a thread somewhere, I'd like some help. Thanks ladies!

Ugh. There WAS a thread about that episode, in the Vaccinations forum.
I agree that there has to be some letter writing and protests; they were obviously going behind parents' backs to brainwash children into believing their mantras.
And to think local moms kept their kids home when Obama had his speech...
