My water broke at 730 PST tonight. I guess I'm beating the odds because this is my 2nd labour that has "started" (I use that term loosely) with broken water. I had just put ds2 to bed and DH was putting ds1 to bed. I bent over to pick up the pots and pans ds2 was banging while I was making supper and *pop*. I made it to the bathroom before my pants got too wet. 
With ds2 my water was broken for 40+ hours before I started active labour. I'm going to try to shorten that this time.
After the 40 hr wait, things went quickly last time - he was out in 4.5 hrs.
I'm going to fold laundry and then go to bed.
UPDATE 3:38AM PST
I was woken up by a few light-ish contrax (more serious than BH but not much...). Waiting to see if they will pick up if I stay up but I'm contemplating going back to bed (probably the smarter choice).
6:32AM PST Still waiting. The contrax I'm having are getting longer and stronger...but not closer together. Gonna farm out the kids and go for a walk, I think.

Hearing about the *pop* brought back memories; my second son's birth started the same way.
