Exciting! So how far along are you, exactly? Is the embryo that little thing in the middle?

The large black thingy is the gestational sack and the white bits in it are the yolk sac and right next to it is the embryo. According to FF I'm 5w0d, but I thought I'm 5w1d. On another site they were off by several days. I won't get my Mutterpaß back until my appointment next week and then I'll see how the office dated this pg. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's u/s pics. They're so exciting!!!

Aww Look at that little sweet pea!!! I'm so excited about my u/s in3 weeks. I just can't wait until I get the u/s pictures of my baby without its sea monkey tail! Not sure when that is though...

My latest u/s pics! According to my doc I'm 7w1d, according to the u/s I'm 7w6d and according to FF I'm 8w0d today. OK!!!!

And the good and bad news: it's only one baby, he's measuring 15mm up from 2,5 mm 2 weeks ago. I also got to hear the heartbeat, but don't ask me about the heart rate; Germans don't do that stuff until way later in the pregnancy.
The bad news: I'm just getting fat and showing early! I've gained 3 kg in the last two weeks despite my nausea, but the nurse took off 1 kg to account for my boots that I had on while weighing. I mean, I had them on the last time, too . . . AND my blood pressure went up to 130/80 from 120/70 but that's not too bad. I just don't want to know what it'll be in the last trimester. All in all, I feel really, REALLY old today.

Thanx Ladies! It really does look like a lima bean, doesn't it? We've got our next appointment on Dec. 23 for our first official u/s and I'm taking dd with me to watch since my "bean" should look a lot more like a baby and IIRC, dd was very active in her first u/s swimming all over the place like a little frog. I think it would amuse her greatly to see her new sibling's antics - the things these itsy bitsy babies can really do!!! - before s/he is born.
