The OC housewives are my favorite! I love some good trashy TV. Can't wait to see how the newest one fits in...

I think baptism by fire LOL. I am sure it will be the usual catty attitudes while they all sit at some patio rest eating and drinking with their high heels on, etc.

Oh yes, my DH thinks this is trash and will not particpate! But that is the fun of it.

OC is my favorite and my DH thinks I'm nuts for rotting my brain by watching it!!

I read on perez yesterday that Slade was behind $80000 in child support payments and that his 9yr old son has an inoperable brain tumor and Slade hasn't seen his kids in a long time. So so sad, I'll be praying for that little guy!

So, did anyone watch? I found most of it really sad. The only couple who seems to be okay is Vicky and Don, ironically enough. One reason may be they are doing okay money wise, which seems to NOT be the case for Tamra and Jeana. I always thought Tamra and her dh got along pretty well, but their relationship seems pretty screwed up now.

bumping. Hoping this gets better tonight but dosent sound like it. I guess the real reality is hitting these ladies. I guess that makes like 5 RH total who have lost their houses so far. That includes Atlanta, not sure about NY.

I find it hard to feel sorry for them. They were raking in major money and spending it like crazy. It is a lesson learned, surely, but how many of us ever get to live that type of lifestyle. Last year or the year before, Tamra said she DESERVED a $40K watch for turning 40. Umm, no. You don't deserve it for turning 40. If you can afford it, I have no problem with you having it, but maybe that 40K could have helped save your house.

My dh lost his job and was unemployed for 3 months; he did everything he could to find another job and also substituted in the school district while looking, so that we would have some money coming in. Surely with two able-bodied, well connected, adults in the house, someone could find something? I mean they know many many wealthy people who own businesses. Also, her dh quit doing something he was very good at to sell tequila???? Come on. NOT a smart move, LOL.

I feel a little for Jeana b/c she was supporting herself. At least it seems like her kids have better money sense. Sad to see her son lecturing her on spending, but it is a good sign. Better that than having whiny, greedy kids.

I'm ashamed too, but I love it!! I record it and watch while my DH is at work so I don't have to see his eyerolls.

When they showed Vicky in Rome, I am reminded why when in Europe and when we would run into other americans, we would suddenly switch from English to the native country's language so we blended in more. She was saying how hard it was they didnt speak english. She was in Italy DUH!

Also all European hotels are tiny like that. Besides, you came to see ITaly, not a friggen hotel room....
