All this cramping. when will it lead to something else!

I've been feeling so crampy off-and-on now for days. With my last baby I had 24 hours of this, and then 24 hours later she was born. MW said that with subsequent pregnancies, the early signs can come earlier and last longer, so I guess that's what's happening with me this time around.

Baby, baby, when are you planning to come? I should just ignore the cramping since it's not going anywhere yet. Oh how hard it is to be patient at the end of pregnancy!

I am a first timer, so no help really, but I've had cramping off an on since I lost my mucous plug and had a bit of bloody show nearly 2 weeks ago. and still no baby.

though starting oh, around 6? last night started having light contractions, about 15 minutes apart, and they have persisted through the night and into today. They are starting to get slightly more intense, so maybe! this is the beginning of the real thing. I am so hoping! I don't mind having a long-ish labor so long as I can know for sure that this is what it is.

Wow within 24 hours with the first? I've been having off and on low PMS type cramps over the past 24 hrs...maybe we'll all go today/tonight!

I've been feeling crampy here and there for a few days now, nothing regular though! Just waiting for something to happen soon. My EDD is on Fri and I really want a baby by this weekend!

well, that was my second baby. With my first, I had no cramping or any other signs until the "real" contractions started. So my second baby was my first experience with with putzy early stuff...like menstual-like cramping. This time it seems there's just a lot more putzy stuff going on!

I woke up to menstrual-like cramps this morning. In my groggy state, I almost thought I was about to start my period. And then I fully woke up. Pregnant.

I had real contractions this morning from about 7am - 1pm, (as opposed to BH, I can tell because my real contractions give me a wicked head-rush and make me mildly nauseous) so I was a little excited yet know my own history well enough to expect it to fizzle out, which it did after I took a nap. I also had what I can only describe as 'rolling waves of intense searing cervical pain' that filled the void between contractions, the kind that makes you suck in your breath and feel like you might throw up. So it was fun and exciting while it lasted, but unfortunately now I'm just tired and normal late pregnant achey again. I know better than to let it bum me out, but on some level, it still does.

Oh-- this is exactly me! I have had cramping that would not stop all day and got worse as the day went on. I was SURE I'd be progressing or giving birth tonight or tomorrow. With my other 3 PGs, cramping = giving birth within 6 hours. I thought with my 4th baby I'd be so much more in the know, go even faster . . .hahahaha! Wrong!
