Doesn't have to just be HS. whatever you want.

I am usally reading more than one book at once

(car book, upstairs book, downstairs book .. so when i have time there is one within reach)

I try to read a "education / homsechool / parenting" a "fun book" and a "spritial life book"

Just me.

I that book!

Here are mine:

Homeschooling the Early Years by Linda Dobson
In Praise of Stay-at-Home Moms by Dr. Laura Schlessinger
Long Ago When I Was Young by E. Nesbit
(that one is the author's autobiography of sorts, a peek into real history)

Recently read these parenting ones:
Between Parent and Child
Raising Our Children, Raising Ourselves by Naomi Aldort

I think my next "swing" of reading moods will be towards simply "fun" books, but I need some good titles...
I'll be this thread

After a kick of Dickens and then Hardy, got the non-fiction bug back (where I usually am)

Cleaned out the homeschool section of the library, intro to and "real life stories" kind of books. Nothing worth noting so far, but helpful for this newbie!

Also "Perfect Health for Kids" by John Douillard. Colds are a distant memory in this house since I got that book! Highly recommended!

Also reading Einstein Never Used Flashcards.

If I ever decide to read just one book before moving on to the next, I might actually finish something!

Planning some Charlotte Mason books soon.

I am reading the amazing series of historical novels by Sharon Kay Penman (When Christ and His Saints Slept; Time and Chance; Devils Brood; The Sunne in Splendor). These are set in Medieval England and chronicle the lives of such figures as Henry I, Henry II, Thomas A Beckett, Eleanor of Aquitane, Richard III and others. They are the most interesting and engaging look into the world of the Kings and Queens of England that I have ever come across. They are a great read, and especially good if you are doing a Middle Ages History cycle.
