So today I took my baby for her 2 month check-up. Our pediatrician is very cool with non-vaxing. At the end of the checkup, he just asked "So no shots today, right?" And I said "Right." He said "Oh good, that makes my job so easy. I am so sick of giving shots. I think that's all I do sometimes is give shots."
Then he mentioned how it us even worse now, with all the flu shots, etc.
Then I told him how I am always posting vaccine articles on Facebook and one of my friends just posted how he had a very bad reaction to his flu shot. The doctor asked if he could "friend" me on Facebook so he could read my vaccine articles!!!
Love it.
Thought I would share a positive pediatrician story here. Perhaps the over-aggressive vaccine schedule is starting to get to the peds. Great to see them questioning it!
