Please Help - Is this safe while breastfeeding

I hope this is the right place. I went to the dentist and he wants me to use Peridex, which is a chlorhexadine mouthrinse. Is this safe while breastfeeding. The dentist said yes but I don't always trust what they say, so I wanted to double check with all of you knowledgeable mamas. he used some of it in the office too and my DS is going to want to nurse soon......can he???

It is poorly absorbed in humans and is not likely to cause untoward effects in nursing infant...
