Online Source for Home Decor Fabric?

I'm thinking of making duvet covers and curtains for my two boys and am having trouble finding home decor fabric that is not for babies and also not for adults. I'd also like to stay away from comic book heros and other licensed characters. So, where do you all go for older kid fabric for boys?

Thanks!

My mom's family has been in the home dec business for 40 years, and to be completely honest with you, there's really not a lot of stuff out there in home dec fabrics for older boys. Your best choices would be to check out quilting cottons instead.

I saw this and this while I was looking for some fabric for myself. If you look under Home Decor Fabrics they have a Kids and Youth section. HTH

I know its been a while so perhaps you've found something. If not, I know of a store here in VT that you would more than likely find success with. It is called Rags and Riches and is located in Burlington, VT near the airport. You can see their website here http://ragsandrichesfabrics.com though they do not show all their fabrics on the site.

For me it's like a grown up candy store. I can't get in and out of there in less than two hours. There is just SO SO much for selection and their prices are very discounted. There is even a good selection of clearance fabrics for $5 and $10 per yard. I am not sure how long it would take to get there from your locale in NH but probably worth the trip. Burlington is a great town for a day trip anyhow, particularly in the holiday shopping season.

Best of luck finding your fabric. I encourage you to call the folks at R and R as well - they're all SUPER nice. Happy sewing!!!
