Why is this an "emergency" rally?
The "National Organization for Marriage" has started their media campaign in NJ, designed to stir up fears about marriage equality. This is a quote from the NOM website: Beginning today the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) will launch a new $225,000 New Jersey radio ad campaign...The media campaign will be supplemented by direct outreach to more than a million New Jersey voters in 14 state senate districts on the gay marriage issue.
We can't let those who would use fear and bigotry against our loving families get the last word. Show up in support of marriage equality on Wednesday night, and let's make sure that our voices are heard!
