We were debt-free a few months ago, and due to some stupid spending on our part and a few things that have come up (including $8000 for rebuilding our chimney...ack!) I'm looking around for some 0% interest balance transfer offers. I get the feeling that these aren't as easy to come by as they used to be.
Back when we were really struggling under a whole lot of debt I was able to bounce the balance from one card to another with NO interest and NO transfer fee. The best I can find now is a Citibank card for 0% for six months and a 3% balance transfer fee. We were approved but the limit is lower than our total debt.
Anyone know of any other deals out there? TIA!
