What'll they do without us old timers over here??
They'll just have to come join us over in Q&P! At least we know we won't be stuck in queer and pregnant as long as we've been here. I think we've been on this thread since it started.

I will be very excited if I do indeed get to move with you!

I have no idea what we'll do. Your collective experience and advice have been INVALUABLE! So don't permanently desert us, please.

Crap. Looking at the list, I *think* (but am not positive) that once Papa officially graduates, I might be the "new old-timer" actively TTC on this board.

That's.... strange to me. We've been TTC for 8 month, but have only actually had 5 rounds of insems. That doesn't SEEM like too terribly long, relatively speaking.

Hm, I guess to avoid that I'll just have to join you both over there this month. 9 more days till expected AF........

Hi Papa- I don't normally post here but just wanted to say hooray to you and best of luck for a good beta. in my limited time at MDC your posts have been so, so helpful and i wish you all the best!

PAPA!!!!!! I'm so happy about the BFP! I'm waiting waiting waiting to hear the beta number today...

I've just been lurking for a while. Just made it through cycle number 10 only to receive another BFN. And I just feel defeated. though I have to say Papa's experience is inspirational! Sometimes these things just take time I suppose.

Lyndzies my friend, I think we may be tied for senior status at this point. I think I first posted in mid-February? Scary. I'm hoping this will be your last TWW!

Don't worry ladies... we'll hit THREE YEARS of ttc in January, so no worries about being the old maids for you guys.

Papa, I can't wait to hear about your beta!!!

No beta update yet...fooey.

I'll call them again first thing in the AM. And I have to go in for bloodwork again tomorrow, so I'll nag them then!

That is cruel and unusual punishment.

Sure, it's a holiday....whatever. There are hundreds of people waiting on this result! Don't they know??????????

Looking forward to the great news in the morn, Papa.

I agree! What are they thinking???

When I check in for the update I will be checking from Canada, which seems so appropriate!
Fingers crossed!

Papa - can't wait to find out some more info from you tomorrow! Booooo to them for making you wait!

Soooooo... umm...... I've been crying uncontrollably for a couple of hours. Granted, I'm really stressed at work, but this CRYING? Jebus.

Hoping it's a sign, instead of me just being a little nuts-o. I'm feeling a bit out of my gourd at the moment. I guess it's probably just this heap of work I can't get out from under.

*sigh*

i'm glad i'm not the only person checking back multiple times a day for papa's beta numbers! there are a lot of people waiting for those results.....

Lyndzies I'm sorry you've been crying for a couple of hours. It might be cleansing, but it sounds exhausting. The TTC stress is truly unmatched in its ability to f*#@ with our minds; maybe letting loose with the stress/sadness/anticipation is healthy, now and then? Hang in there! This could be your cycle! And either way, life will go on, and you'll be ok.

Yeah, I don't know what it is/was. I wasn't particularly upset about TTC or anything. Actually, I've been really zen about the whole thing and haven't been stressing about it much at all. I think it's probably just being overwhelmed by work right now...

But of course the crazy part of me hopes it's some sort of "symptom." LOL.

Bad Beta Blues

The beta on Tuesday was 2.

I did the repeat draw today, only because I still have a faint, faint, fainter than the first one, on the $ tree test I took this morning.

2 means I'm pretty much out, because urine tests are a couple of days behind blood tests, it probably means my blood hCG was higher on Sunday/Monday which made the test positive with Tuesday's pee, but the blood hCG levels were already falling.

So, super early miscarriage # 3 for me.

Might as well put me back under "waiting to O" with the added note "increasing medical intervention - some sort of drug plus IUI."

I'm either doing Tamoxifen + trigger + IUI this month, or Gonal-F, it just depends on whether my OBGYN gets me again, or if the RE's office is ready for me yet.

At least seeking reproductive help means that I can't sit and brood on what this means, I have to start making phone calls and getting next cycle lined up. I anticipate I'll start bleeding tomorrow, which makes the magic Day 3 on Sunday, so I want to be sorted out on Friday, since I won't be able to get the docs on the phone over the weekend.

Well, crap. I'm so sorry to hear it.

It sounds like you've got a good attitude about it, though.... hoping you're doing okay. xoxo!
