New Moon -magazine for girls- in trouble!

this was one of my favorite magazines as a kid- its written by girls for girls, aged 8-14.
its designed to help girls discover and honor their true selves. no ads, no diet or fashion tips, no inappropriate quizzes..

and i just got an email from them saying they will have to close up shop in 60 days if they don't get enough new subscriptions! so sad.

i loved that magazine when i was younger an was hoping one day to give it to my daughter

Eh, I'm no longer a fan. They moved down several grade levels recently to cater to younger girls. My teen daughter was devastated.There's so little for her age without getting all grown up and trampy/slutty.
