Welcome to the world, Clarke Lee 6lbs 18.25” long, and Luke Edward, 5lbs 14oz 18.25” long.

They are the most beautiful babies! I’m so in love! Their personalities are just like when they were in the womb. Clarke is feisty and Luke is a laid back lover!

Having difficulty writing a birth story…. For me, the c-section was enough to make me question having any more children…. The anxiety, the pain, the unnatural part of it that felt so wrong. I went in at 5:15am on Tuesday November 3rd and they were born at 7:31am and 7:33am.

Congrats on such huge twins! Way to cook those babies, mama!

And it's perfectly natural to be all conflicted about a c-section, even though you and your babies are healthy. I for sure was after my dd #1 was born. It took me months to get better. Not trying to scare you, just to let you know that what you are feeling is perfectly normal. Be extra patient with yourself and know that there are plenty of mamas on these boards who have regrets/conflict/negative feelings about their own sections...hang in there and luv luv luv those babies!

Congratulations!!

Allow some time, mama. Birth is a huge deal... even when everything goes "right" it's still a lot to process. I remember feelings after my first son was born were really raw, the trauma was very real. I went on to have an amazing birth with my second...
