Due in Dec but already dilated and having braxton...

So I'm 36 weeks tomorrow, due at the beginning of Dec, but this baby seems like he wants to come early. I've had multiple dreams that he would and even my mom thinks I'll go in the next couple weeks. After having some sharp pains in my cervix the last week I decided to check again, a week and a half ago it was closed, now I'm dilated 2cm and about 85% effaced. It was so cool cause I could even feel his head! When I UC'd with dd I was 60 pounds heavier and couldn't for the life of me get my hand up that far or reach around my belly well enough to actually ever feel myself being dilated, instead I had dh doing my checks for me. Now I know what other mommas are talking about and WOW is it cool!

Anyone ever have braxton hicks on just one side? My right side is getting all the cramping attention right now along with back pain but again only on my right side.... weird.

Anyways, I doubted that I would go early and put off ordering my supplies and really just avoided the birth stories cause I was getting too excited and could think of nothing else, so I've been focusing all my attention on the home purchase we are going through right now. Now I'm ordering my stuff and trying to prepare mentally, I'm super stoked, it just doesnt seem real right now since I put it on the back burner the past couple months, it's like I need a couple days to realize that "Oh my goodness, he's finally coming!!!" and of course I'd really like for my supplies to be here before him!

Ordered them all last night, hope they get here before baby does! And if not... oh well, we'll just have to make do.
