Still sort of spotting, should I be worried?

So I started having what turned out to be implantation bleeding at 8 dpo. BFN 9 dpo, started to let up a little 10 dpo, BFP 11 dpo & again 12 dpo. So now I am 13 dpo and there is still just the *tiniest* bit of spotting - not even enough for a panty liner, it's just when I wipe. No cramping, just sort of that tugging achy feeling in my abdomen... but nothing like AF cramps.

I had not planned on starting the midwife interview process until week 5, should I try to see someone right away?

I'm sorry, I don't know--I guess from what I've read, it's probably not anything to worry about, but I would try to see someone about it sooner rather than later, if nothing else to put your mind at rest. I know that tugging aching feeling and I'm pretty sure it's perfectly normal.

Implantation bleeding can last about 2-3 days. But that doesn't mean that for some women it couln't last a bit longer. This time, mine lasted 4 days.

Can you get some cheap pregnancy tests and keep testing daily to keep you from worrying?

Good luck!

try not to worry, rest and drink LOTS of pure water. spotting can sometimes be attributed to dehydration. also, if you have been dtd, the force on your soft cervix can cause spotting.

i just lent all my really good pg books to someone. including the wise woman for the childbearing year. in there is a recipe at the beginning for possible/threatened m/c. i took it when i was pg with dd and had fresh spotting.

i'll try and get the recipe for you, and if you know someone who has the book, see if they'll look it up. i think every pg woman should have that book, it's only $10 on amazon. do you have access to a health food or herb store close by?

this is from that book, but not the recipe found at the front, although they are almost identical. i do remember the recipe at the beginning instructing to drink a cup every half-hour until symptoms subside, and to also add the lobelia to every cup.

i sipped on mine throughout the day, and the spotting went away.

THREATENED MISCARRIAGE BREW

1 tablespoon dried Black Haw root bark or Cramp bark
3 tablespoon dried Raspberry leaf
10 drops Wild Yam root tincture
10 drops False Unicorn root tincture
60 drops Lobelia herb tincture

Put herbs in quart jar and add four cups of boiling water. Steep until cool enough to drink. Add tinctures to one cupful of tea and drink. If contractions continue for more than 30 minutes, add 60 drops of Lobelia tincture to a second cup of tea. Drink a cup every 3 hours, adding tinctures as needed, until miscarriage no longer threatens. Increase the effectiveness of the brew by resting in bed and taking 500 IU of vitamin E every six hours.

No place near me sells that sort of stuff so I have settled for a very large bottle of water. Sticky vibes please...
