If you use Crunchy Clean...

What is your wash routine? Her site says no extra rinse is needed...so I'm just curious as to what you do. This will be my first experience CD'ing, so I was planning just a cold wash/rinse followed by a hot wash. Does that sound right?
Also do you add more detergent when you do the second wash?
TIA!

I just switched to Crunchy Clean and so far so good.

My routine is a cold rinse with no detergent and then a wash on the whitest whites setting with 1-2 T of the detergent. My wash cycle has an added extra rinse in there already and I don't need to do anymore. (I also have an HE machine.)

I used it for a while. I did a cold 'prewash' which I used as a rinse. Then I washed on hot with detergent/cold rinse and opted for the second rinse on my machine, which was also cold. I just really wanted to make sure there was no detergent left on them and that they were REALLY clean.

I'm switching to this really soon and can't wait. I was using Arm and Hammer and had to do a whole separate cycle with no detergent to get them fully rinsed. From what I hear it works really well and rinses just as well. I guess I'll see!

I have found I do still have to do the extra rinse. So basically I do a cold rinse first with no soap, hot wash and then cold rinse again. I also only use about 1.5 tbps of the soap. I love my cruncy clean
