What do I need? Vitamix, Cuisinart, Coffee Grinder

I have a Vitamix and make nut butters, but I don't know about the other options on your list....

I find the Vitamix to be too much of a pain for making anything of a paste consistency. It is really hard to scrape out from under the blades so there is always some wasted as a result. I prefer to use my Cuisinart for nut butter.

Of course, I feel I should mention I love my Vitamix, Cuisinart food processor, and Cuisinart coffee grinder. My Vitamix is essential for green smoothies and creamy soups and I use my coffee grinder primarily to grind flax seeds and spices.

Food processor - I make PB in it regularly. You could do it in a blender, but I hate scraping pastes out of that narrow jar, I can never get it all.

I use a champion juicer to make almond butter. It comes out creamy and isn't that bad to clean as long as I do it right away (coming from a person who forgets to clean it half the time and then it dries on)

I have an Omega juicer that is supposed to be able to make nut butters but I have never tried it. Hmmm... I'll have to try that next time...

Thanks. I find the Vitamix a little challenging, but I only have a Cuisinart mini-prep, not a full-sized one. Maybe I will try in that.
