Any great websites to help me knit and/or crochet?

I probably need something with videos, I am a visual learner!
Knitting and crocheting is one of those things that I really want to do, and I have tried so many times but I just can't seem to get the hang of it! Are there any good websites you would recommend to me!?

I also think for printed directions you can't beat the ones in Kids Knitting by Melanie Fallack. You could check the library for it.

I second youtube. You can search for most techniques and find video tutorials.

Ravelry is also a great resource for knitters and other fiber artists.
