In the Southern CA area that sells fruits and vegetables (organic or no pesticide). Also looking for free-range organic chicken and grass-fed beef.

Anyone now of any farms in the Southern CA area?

Socal is kinda big, but...

They are a lovely older couple, so the web page is not very updated. This farm/orchard is all organic and they sells many types of delicious fruits and veggies here. My eldest (LO is 4 mo) loves to eat and pick his own here.

Another option that is wonderful is this Organic Produce Buying Club. Wonderful shares and super wonderful people! http://www.meetup.com/organicproduce/

Guldseth's does supply them with some of their fruits & veggies. If you are in the area you're going to love it! Guldseth's is not too far from there, although they have much more offerings in the earlier months. The best, most mouthwatering food ever!

IEOPBC is a wonderful group and is definitely worth a try. The organizers and volunteers are very helpful, so if you have any ?'s don't hesitate to ask. It's been awhile since i've been there because of my LO, but I loved it when I went!

Good luck!

Where are you?

You can also check out Inland Empire CSA here All organic, all local produce. Also, grass-fed beef.

In the past, the IEOPBC had both imported organic produce and a bit of local. If local is important to you, you'll need to see what they're doing now.

We do CSA through South Coast Farms in San Juan Capistrano. They have several drop off homes throughout Orange County. And we buy our beef from 5 Bar Beef in Trabuco Canyon. He also sells at the Laguna Hills and UCI farmers market, and I think he delivers as well. His beef is AMAZING!!!! It took us almost a year of being out here before we found him.

Thank you everyone! This is exciting! We have always been conscious about what we eat in our home (we are located in North Orange County), but after watching Food, Inc., I'm on a mission!

The Belly Sprout in Fullerton hosts a CSA for Orange County.
