Hard time or No time posting...

I am so sorry I haven't been on here in a while. Mostly, because I miss my mommy/friend time with all of you! I am so out of the loop it isn't even funny anymore. I am battling learning how to do things all over again with a newborn and adding the second child to the mix which threw off everything with the first child! AGGH! Then we are expected to continue right where we left off just like nothing ever happened (at home, I mean) such as with household duties, etc...I am frustrated, overwhelmed, I think I have thrush but no real symptoms other than feeling nipple pain and I haven't even made it to my pp visit. I have put it off already! I have been on overdrive since baby came home! And quite frankly I am tired of it! I just want to get on MDC and chat with my buddies! I don't have to be on here all the time but really- it has been since Oct. 22! Can anyone give me suggestions on managing my time better? Also, with thrush are you tired all the time? I mean sleepy where you can just sleep anywhere? Sorry for the rant!

I hear you mama.. .I just had my first, but I still find it hard to do anything besides nurse and nap. I'm lucky if I get a shower--my time with friends (here or IRL) has certainly suffered. I can't even imagine doing this with another child already at home.

As for the thrush, we have been battling it here. Not sure about the tiredness--I'm super tired all the time now anyway! For me it was a burning sensation in my nipples esp after feedings that finally clued me in.

I am feeling much better after doing the gentian violet and the GSE and washing laundry with vinegar for a couple of weeks.

It can be tough to make the transition.

I hear ya! I am on today for the first time in a month!! Four children and I am totally beat with no time for chatting. I had to tell one of my closest friends that I cannot talk on the phone. Even if the kids are all occupied, I just don't have time! I have too many dishes to wash, too much clothing to clean, too many toys to pick up, errands to run, children to chauffeur, meals to prepare, bills to pay, and on and on and on!!!!!!!

*POP!*

Sorry, that was my head exploding.

I hear ya on that one! I think this might actually be my first post since I gave birth to my son and he's six weeks old! I also miss you gals here on MDC and I'm getting pretty sad that this thread will be shut down soon. I've also got thrush. I haven't been tired but I had really shooting pains in my nipples. My son's tongue still has the furry white coat so I'm still working on it. Hang in there though!

Well, her doctor said if her diaper bumps (little red ones) didn't go away use Lotramin first and then they would prescribe something. My doctor said it didn't sound like a yeast infection of any sort since baby didn't have white spots in her mouth but I read that they don't always get those in their mouths that sometimes the only sign is that the mom has nipple pain and baby has little red bumps. Who knows...

Thanks for the boost! Mine is also six weeks and it has been really rough trying to fit in everyone's needs and mine are so getting neglected. I am on the way to fixing that though! Not sure how....

I'm busy, but I think I have some breathing space. It can be a lot to juggle though! Two under two means someone will ALWAYS need you, and when you add in a homeschooled 7 year old doing 4th and 5th grade work... hah!

I'm also sad that this DDC will be closing soon.
