eHow, anyone? Total newbie here with topic question.

I'm a total newbie to writing for publication, though I've always been a good writer. My problem is that I write well when prompted, but when told just to write, or come up with an article idea, I feel stymied.

I know that some sites actually list articles or at least topics. Does eHow do this? I just signed up to write for them, but it seems like every idea I come up with has already been written several times!

Any thoughts on this?

You can add words to your title to make it original for ehow's system and still write on the topic. How to Parent vs. How to Parent Guide vs. How to Parent Well vs. How to be a Good Parent.

Also they do have a suggested topics list somewhere on the screen, I ignore it.

I suggest you carefully study this free ehow tutorial (it's not mine) which is excellent. I give the link to everyone.
