All I can say is PRAY!! It really, really works. My husband was raised in a baptist church and at first had a lot of almost "negative" things to say/question about the Catholic church. He just never really understood what it was all about. (His mother acutally asked me if I believed in Jesus if I remember correctly...)I feel he was a "lost soul". After many, many years of him not really wanting anything to do with the church...He is currently going through RCIA. I couldn't believe it. He said once he started learning about the church...he couldn't see how you could be any other kind of christian. We are the first. UNIVERSAL!! I'll pray for you and your husband!!

I keep thinking of my DH's lack of faith as a self-help type situation -- like I can reason with it, prove the rightness of the Church, or just expose him to something that will click for him--the right book, the right Mass, etc.

But it's NOT a problem I can fix. It's something to pray for!

Thank you all for the reminder, and prayers for all of us who find ourselves in this situation.
