Anyone sell cookies???

I have been toying with the idea of making some cookies to sell. I have a special recipe and am often told I should sell them.

Has anyone done this? I've ordered an ebook on the subject.

There is a commercial kitchen I can rent in my area (not sure how much tho) and I was thinking of starting out at a small farmer's market next year. Just to see what people thought.

I'm not sure if I want to open a storefront. Although I would be interested in providing stock to places like Whole Foods and independent grocers. My other thought was to make it a seasonal item. The cookie is most definitely an Xmas cookie--it even tastes like Xmas.

Has anyone btdt? Can you build a business on one cookie?

I do have other food ideas. I've recently created a pumpkin cheesecake quickbread that could be made into muffins.

Any thoughts?

I have the basic business info but am still unsure if this can really be profitable or no.
