Atlanta Area Farm

DH and I recently moved to the Atlanta area and are in search for a local source for organic pasture raised beef and chicken. I investigated Westwind Farms, since they deliver to the Atlanta area, but they would not allow us to view the facilities, which is a deal breaker for us. Anyone have a good source?

I would look into sevananda co-op in l5p. check out the board there. or post in triable areas.

Riverview Farms does organic grass fed beef, and is halfway between Atlanta and Chattanooga, and they sell at some of the Atlanta farmer's markets, if I remember correctly.

Yep, they sell at the Morningside Farmers Market.

Also, White Oak Pastures is 170 miles south of Atlanta and their beef is sold in some Publix stores and online . . . it might be worth the roadtrip to view their facilities.

White Oak Pastures in Bluffton, GA does great grass-fed beef....not exactly sure how close that is to Atlanta: http://www.whiteoakpastures.com/index.html
