post partum bleeding and vaginal irritation

so i had my baby on oct 20 - 17 days ago. the bleeding was almost done. but i've been feeling what i'm sure equates to diaper rash from wearing pads for so long. but this morning, my vulva started to REALLY hurt. and when i went pee, it BURNED like there was a cut on it. i'm not sure why this happened or what i can do about it.

has anyone else got this? we haven't had sex yet so it's nothing to do with that. and i didn't cut myself shaving. but it definitely feels like there is a cut down there. and i didn't tear AT ALL in labour.

what can i do about this?? i can't stand it!! i really hope that the bleeding stops soon. this pad thing SUCKS.

Are you using cloth or disposable pads? If you are using disposables are they an all-natural brand? I have a terrible reaction to disposable pads! I can use them for a few days max before I get a terrible rash. I get red and a little swollen at first, then itching and the horrible burning comes last! It is something like an allergy, I think. It does HURT, though!

That said, you should probably call your care provider and double check. Hope you feel better soon!
