Supplies for HB

You would think I would remember from last time but I don't.
Anyone have any suggestions as to what I might need?

I bought my supplies from http://www.inhishands.com and it was a kit that my midwife requested. You may want to ask her what she wants & go from there.

I also got my midwives custom birth kit from inhishands.com

In addition she like for us to have on hand:

4 clean soft towels (we will have more because there are two babies)
Olive oil - for cleaning the baby and also for perineal massage
cotton balls
q-tips
alcohol

She also says that we should make the bed with a clean set of sheets, put a vinyl sheet over and make the bed again with a different set so that you can pull off the dirty sheets and have a nice clean bed.

We also ordered from In His Hands, ordering the kit the midwife had pre-arranged. In addition, she asked us to have 8-10 receiving blankets for the baby, a hat, thick socks, and an outfit for baby, at least 6 towels for mama (more if I wanted to labor in the birthing pool), sheets that could get dirty, some sort of protector for the mattress (we bought a vinyl fitted sheet), a clean hose for the birthing pool and an attachment piece to connect the hose to the faucet. I think that was about it. I also bought some vanilla scented candles and glass hurricanes to have lit around the house.
