Favorite fabric for fitteds?

I might cross post this for more responses. I'm making some fitteds/contours and I need to decide what I want for fabric for the inner/outer layer and for the inside. I'm planning on using Snappis as a fastener.

Right now I'm looking at some flannel, some cotton/bamboo french terry, and some prefold twill.

Preferences? Suggestions?

The flannel won't hold the Snappis, so use it as the inner layer or soaker.
