Has anyone dealt with dairy allergies while breastfeeding?

Hello moms,

I was recently tested for possible food allergies because of some of dd's symptoms. Never in a million years did I ever suspect that I was severe allergic to dairy, gluten and almonds. I am also moderately allergic to a few other items. I have been off of these foods for a few days now and dd's stool has been curious. She has always had greenish stool and I always thought it was because of hindmilk-foremilk imbalance. Her stool has gotten greener in the past few days, more watery, mucousy, stringy and even had a few specs of red blood in it (usu. a sign of allergy). I am wondering if this could be happening because of withdrawal. Has anyone experienced this before? The naturopath said there would not be withdrawal symptoms, but I am not sure if I completely believe in her.

Thanks!

I had to do an elimination diet because of my 6-month old. It turned out he was reacting to dairy in my diet, but it took a good 2 months of complete elimination before his stools normalized. His problem was not pooping, but yeah, in my experience, it can get worse, or show no improvement, for quite some time.

Was his sleep affected as a result of the elimination as well? My baby has been sleeping poorly for the past couple of nights and I wonder if that is a withdrawal symptom as well.
