Maurine, if you have a positive on the OPK...doesn't that mean you MUST be Ovulating in the next 12-24 (or is it 48?) hours? I wouldn't worry about not ovulating if you got that.

i think it's possible not to o after a + opk, but unlikely...plus there's also often a temp drop right before o. could that be it?

Strange temp jump this morning. I haven't been tracking cervical position or cervical fluid (part of my no stress, no obsess attitude), so I don't know if I could possibly be gearing up to O already. If so, it would be a few days early.

trying to decide whether to temp for maybe 2 more days, or to just chill since temping's not going to change anything. I'm pretty positive FF is correct on my O date.

Hi everyone! Thanks, Maurine for the new thread!

Temp dip today, so yesterday's high temp must have been a fluke. Also, pos OPK and ferning yesterday and peak reading on my monitor today. So I think today is O or maybe tomorrow. I'm hoping this will be my cycle! I went ahead and moved myself to waiting to know last night, but now I am afraid of jinxing it! Maurine, can you put me back in waiting to O? I feel like I need to wait for crosshairs even though I'm pretty sure I'll be Oing today.

AFM: CBM gave me a "peak" today... and I got full ferning, too... looks like eggie is coming soon! Didn't BD yesterday tho... But we'll be dtd tonight... c'mon babeeee, we're waiting for ya...

May I ask which days you inseminated? I'm trying to figure out which days to do it on. My donor is available for 1 or 2 insems this cycle.....but im trying not to get my hopes too high incase he cancels.

If you can pinpoint accurately, I say do it day before and day of O... if not, do it what you would assume is 2 days before and what will likely be day-of that way if you are incorrect but off by a couple days one way or the other you are still covered.

I agree w/ Mae; I'd try to insem the day of O and the day before if you can pinpoint which days those are likely to be. I insemed O-3, O-2, and O-1 (which afforded me a "high" on FF's timing analyzer) because I'd rather err on the side of early (and have good EWCM for keeping spermies happy) rather than miss the egg altogether.

But anyway, according to FF, the best chances of conception are if you BD/inseminate the two days before O and O itself.

Hi everyone! And thanks for the thread!
Just thought I would stop all my lurking and actually say hi!!
Sexyfingers to everyone! Mae, I've been following along, and I'm so happy for you!! I'm almost jealous in a way! I love happy reunions. My dad was in the navy when I was a kid...there was not a happier day than when he would come home.

AFM, I am proud of myself this month. I haven't obsessed, haven't taken a single pregnancy test, and haven't had any emotional breakdowns. This is month...11 I think, for our TTC. In January we will get our SA. I am on 14 dpo, and AF should be here either tomorrow or the next day. I am okay with that. I don't know where this zen has come from, but I'll take it! ( Of course there is the hope that AF will not come, but my boobs always hurt in a specific spot right before AF and yup, that spot is sore right now...so...I'm thinking AF will be coming..just not ready to make it official..)

So that's my blabbering. Fingers crossed for everyone ovulating right now! Come on eggies!!!!!!

Thanks, Ladies for your optimism and support! I hope I get a temp rise tomorrow (still none). DH is cute, though. When I told him I got a positive on my test he said, "Wait, ovulation or.......?"
