Are you having vivid, strange, cool or odd dreams?

Each pregnancy I've had at least one dream that stays with me, like last pregnancy I drempt that Husband and I were at a small Queen concert in a theater, Freddy was still alive, and he picked me out of the crowd to sing with him, "Somebody to Love". IRL this isn't a song that I'd listened to very much, and I don't have the nicest singing voice, and in the dream I told Freddy this. He told me that it didn't matter as long as I sang from my heart and soul that I'd sound beautiful. We sang and it was fantastic!

I woke up happy, and was on a natural high for a very long time afterwards.

How about you? Anything fun, rediculous, maddening, off the wall, or just really vivid?

i've always been a very vivid dreamer, and i can remember many, many dreams from childhood on, but pregnancy dreams have a different feel for me. i don't know how to explain it, but they are more about what is going on subconsciously than just crazy stuff.

my last dream i was trapped in a post-apocalyptic new york (never been to the east coast) without dh, and i was surprised (in the dream) how i felt confidence that i would find him and i was okay without him. everyone in my dream had dreadlocks and there was beautiful music playing while i wandered through open air markets, finding unusual fruits.

I've also always had extremely vivid, symbolic, narrative dreams--I LOVE my dreams! But I haven't yet noticed any difference in my dreams post-BFP. Last night I had a pretty hot one, though--I was playing ice hockey with a really sexy stranger and the sexual tension was off the hook. Hmmm. Don't tell DH.

I dreamt I was pregnant--like I clearly just KNEW--the day before I took the test.

After I gave birth to dd1, I had these really interesting dreams in which I was a horse, and she was also a horse, and somehow in my dream I was Her Protector. It was very interesting to me.

Lol, duh, I was going to write my most recent one.

A bit of backstory, my InLaws are English, living all their lives in the UK. This Fall the visited us and the USA for the first time. I loved our 2-4hour visits back in the UK, but the 11night 12days stay was highly stressful for both Husband and I.

Now to the dream, my FIL rented a huge Buick and they decided to surprise us with a month long visit. MIL was sat in the back seat in a pinkety pink adult sized full back booster seat because at her 5'2" she "needed" to have one. Needless to say I was instantly stressed, as the house wasn't clean, we didn't have enough groceries, and then I looked at MIL's carseat and realized that she wasn't seatbelted right. The carseat thing was intolerable, and I lectured her as I cinched her in properly! In my mind I was thinking how dare she be unsafe around me, as I awoke to my toddler about to throw a pliers at my legs! lmbo!

i love to hear everyone's dreams!

blanca: i tend to have more sex and sexual tension dreams while pg.

i dreamed the other night that i was married to a very, very sexy sherlock holmes and we were playing naked and he was, um, "ready to go", and i was sitting on top of him. i was trying to explain to him that the word fisherman actually came from the word penis, but his dictionary had been rearranged by his ex-girlfriend, and all the words starting with the letter "f" was missing. afterwards, we solved some crazy catering mystery together in a completely glass hotel.

surfacing: your horse dream is beautiful!

lizzardbits: kinda bizarre with your mil in a booster

I have been having some very weird and vivid dreams too. I remember this from when I was pg w/my daughter, and it never happened with my m/c's. Good sign?

One of the weirdest ones from the other night was that I was breastfeeding twins at the same time! It was so real and weird.

I do think that my dreams during pg often show my daily fears etc. With my dd I had a dream that I drove off a cliff into water and underwater my dss was sinking into the dark water and I couldn't catch him, I was just screaming and crying and woke up very upset. It was very weird...and I will never forget it. I am trying to write down dreams now because they are so weird.

Sexy Sherlock Holmes! I love it! I'd take that dream.

it's the part about pregnancy that is easily the weirdest for me. I'm not normally a "big elaborate" dreamer, but as soon as I get pregnant things go WACKO. Everything from the apocalyptic to my husband turning into a green flying dinosaur, to the weird sex dreams (a lot of making out, mostly...), and last night I dreamed I had to save the world from a crack addicted batman.

crack addicted batman!!!! I just laughed so hard, I had to run to the bathroom, lest I pee myself!!!!

The reoccuring dream that I've had with all pregnancies is giving birth to various items and being disappointed that I had a litter of puppies, or a cabbage patch doll, or a beach ball or a statue! I wonder what I'll give "birth" to this pregnancy? lol

ZOMG! The dreams...oh the dreams!!!!

1. My ex husband broke into the house and kidnapped the kids. Horrific.

2. My DH stole a freaking GIRAFFE from the ZOO! I was SO mad at him! He was likie 'what, it's just a giraffe!' and I'm saying WTF are you DOING?!?! Then we looked and it was an antelope, so it was ok.

3. My computer cords and power strip were under about a foot of water. I was furious and everyone was just staring at it. I grabbed the power strip and remembered thinking 'hmmm, I should have been electrocuted for that!'

I did have a dream that I got a last week though...kinda cool in retrospect!

Not a dream I had, but my oldest son had a dream that we had new twin babies. We didn't know if we were expecting at the time of his dream and he still doesn't know we are expecting. Twins could be fun

Under the 'just plain weird' category -

I dreamed that I was at the dentist and they were using the drill to carve out a hole in my.... ....belly.

As I'm laying back in the chair I'm watching them drill this hole - and my belly is made of something hard like porcelain and I'm thinking 'it's kinda cool when they do your belly, b/c at least you can see what's going on'.

Last night's dream was hot Hot HOT!! So vivid and realistic that I awoke to me doing "things that shall not be mentioned on a family website" to Hubby. I love it when dreams come true

Last night I went to bed grumpy and my dreams really reflected that. I was going around winning boxing matches against faceless people. Not a fun night.

I haven't been having vivid dreams, up until last night!!!

I had some strange horrible dream that these people I was sharing a temporary residence with were required to be castrated. I was trying to talk my dh out of going along with the castration as well. Let's run away! Don't do it! Ugh, *such* a weird dream. And then this group of guys pretending to be gay got a girl pregnant (it was consensual). Weird weird weird.
