My dogsitter, God bless her heart, was trying to do something good while we were on vacation, and washed my son's diapers with Dreft. Should I re-wash them? Strip them? What would you do?
Thank you!
What are they?
If they are 100% cotton or even bamboo I would just do a couple of hot washes with no detergent and hope for the best, but if they're synthetic or hemp you might have to do all the stripping stuff. One wash in bad detergent won't have killed them though!
Honestly they will likely be fine. Dreft was one of the few detergents that cleaned our diapers that didn't give my D a massive rash and didn't cause repelling. (actually it solved our repeliing pockets at the time) Dreft actually rinses very clean thats why its often believed to have fabric softener in it. It doesn't it jsut rinses well. However it does have enzymes and fragrances that some LO react to so just keep an extra eye on your little one.
